Read the Starbucks Pricing Exercise, Appendix 1, identifies two relevant Management Problems along with Research Questions. (For each Management Problem, you will have a set of Research Questions.)
State the Management Problem concisely. For each one, offer a few sentences of discussion, explaining why this is problem, why it is important, and what business decisions depend on it.
For each of the two Management Problems, identify the relevant Research Questions, stated as hypotheses. The hypotheses should be relationships between concepts. Be clear what the concepts are. For each hypothesis, offer a justification—the logic or theory that supports it. (You may want to recall information from Economics or Buyer Behavior courses.) Last, identify the measures for each concept in the hypothesis. Discuss any measurement problems that might arise.
